BENJAMIN MERTZ

Benjamin Mertz, originally from Hackensack, NJ, has been based in California's SF Bay Area since 2008. He serves as the Director of Diversity & Inclusion at the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute (BECI) and is involved with the Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity. Benjamin is also the founder and director of the Joyful Noise! Gospel Singers, showcasing his expertise in Black Spiritual music. Beyond music, he is an activist for human rights and racial justice, advocating through writing, speaking, and fostering alliances. Currently residing in Richmond, CA, Benjamin remains deeply committed to his various endeavors.
