As a man deeply inspired by the writings of Martin Luther King, James Baldwin, Angela Davis, Cornel West, and others, Benjamin stands in solidarity with nonprofit organizations and civil rights groups of all shapes, sizes, and colors, in the journey towards justice. He fights against what Martin Luther King referred to as the "triple evils": racism, materialism, and militarism.
Benjamin brings a deep compassion, and a deep understanding of historical context, to his work. He can often be found speaking at civil rights events, lecturing in spiritual and educational settings, or leading experiential workshops to help people fully understand and deconstruct issues of racial justice.
